reflecting every quiver
and tremor
in your desires and wonts’.
you are yourself around me
and no one else.
is it because i’m a great friend,
or because i have no true self?

Disturbing and enlightening questions. I’ve often wondered who I am (the proverbial “finding one’s self”) but never thought about how one’s identify can be so bound to another. Not something I’d want really. I really like this.
